Will Writing

A single will is for one person. You can make a single-personal Will whether you have a partner or not,

A Mirror Will is for two people. You can make a mirror Will with your partner or spouse.

At The Norwich Will Writing Company, we've got top professionals on hand who offer their time to guide even those without much knowledge about how this process works.

We give each client personalised attention throughout all steps of completing any type of Will as well as ensuring no stone goes unturned during our consultations which means less stress for you.

Trusts

A Trust is an often-overlooked legal structure that can provide increased asset protection for your family. These kinds of Wills are designated "Trust" wills, and we would always recommend you consider setting up one as part of your Will if any of the following apply:

1. you wish to protect your estate against possible fees such as care homes and other care.

2. you have a partner or spouse but children from a previous relationship

3. you wish to leave some of your estates to a disabled or vulnerable person.

Lasting Power of Attorneys

A lasting power of attorney is an important legal document that will allow you to appoint one or more people to make crucial decisions on your behalf during life. The individuals responsible for managing affairs are called attorneys.

They should be carefully chosen because they will act according to the wishes expressed by their appointing authority (the person permitting them). It is recommended to put these types of documents together with a Will.

Anytime someone wants extra control over how they would like things done after death, it can help protect his family members from unwanted surprises come inheritance time!

Estate Planning & Inheritance Tax

Estate planning is one of the important steps in the process of making your will before passing away. It can help reduce any Inheritance Tax and protect beneficiaries from potential complications, such as probate or other taxes on transfers during retirement accounts when they inherit money due to death without someone living at least six months after dying themselves.

Document Storage

Your original versions of your legal documents, such as Wills and Powers of Attorney, are the only legally binding documents. Having scanned, photocopies or soft records are not legally valid due to them not having your original signature on them.

Your original Will is your only Will legally binding and must be kept safe!

You should never keep the original Will in your home. If you have a flood, fire or burglary, you risk losing your Will and other documentation. If your Will or other documents are damaged in any way, then the courts could declare them unusable.

You must keep your Will in a safe place. However, that place must be easily accessible when the document is needed!
